Hanna Doreen is an artist, musician, and lifelong miniature enthusiast working in Colorado. In 2015, Hanna began combining her love for all things fantastically small with an interest in the aesthetic possibilities of monochromatic color schemes. As a result, she has developed a series of diorama-style works that depict scenes of sameness, longing, and individual exceptionalism.
Through her art and travel, Hanna promotes smallness as a means of being calm and satisfied. Working on a pocket-sized scale helps her feel able to not only tackle but to embrace the largeness of life and curiosity.
